Alright, The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Port Jervis sits at 434.1 per 100K. Median household income is $50,721, which feels on the lower side for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What would you do? Appreciate any input. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
