I've been here for 13 years and With a population of 13,627, Port Neches is a small town. Rent is about $1,116/month for a decent place. Median household income is $84,335, which feels pretty solid for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
