Freelancing from Port Orange -experience?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Tampa and With a population of 63,818, Port Orange is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Port Orange sits at 46.0 per 100K. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Old Town area are excellent. Kids love it here.
