Alright, I'm single, late 30s, and The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $287,900, which seems about average. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from San Diego about 8 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is excellent.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much stable but now it's challenging.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
