Career opportunities in Port St. Lucie, FL

Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 220K, Port St. Lucie is a mid-size city. Household incomes average around $78,137 in Port St. Lucie. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 2 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Charlotte it's surprisingly good.
