Port Washington North vs Salt Lake City -which is better?
Hey, I've been here for 3 years and Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $1,044,500 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thanks for reading.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Austin about 3 years ago. The main reasons were school and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
