Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Phoenix about 4 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is average.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Westside for 4 years. Moved from Atlanta for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
healthcare is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor scene is excellent - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Can feel isolated. And food scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 9/10. Happy to answer more specific questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
