Port Wentworth vs Miami -which is better?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Port Wentworth sits at 292.4 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 11,997 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much competitive but now it's improving.
