What surprised you most about Portage Lakes?

First post here. You can expect to pay around $1,125 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Came here for school and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The safety is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.
