Quick question about Portland

So, I'm single, late 20s, and Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 5.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,487/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $452,600, which is pretty steep. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2020 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.
