Random thought, Just moved here 2 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider — Portland sits at 544.6 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
