Curious what people think. You can expect to pay around $2,616 for rent here. Homes are going for about $1,105,900 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 46,230 people. With a population of 46,230, Potomac is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What would you do? Thanks for reading. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in North area are underrated. Kids love it here.
