Curious what people think. Born and raised here. With a population of 31,778, Poughkeepsie is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs?
