Is Prairie Ridge still affordable?

Hey, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $436,200 on average. It's a a small town city with about 12,054 people. Household incomes average around $110,795 in Prairie Ridge. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 14 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
