Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $436,200, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,742/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,742 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
