Internet providers in Prairieville?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Prairieville sits at 498.8 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely average and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- The food scene scene is average

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to San Francisco it's average.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from New York about 9 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Feel free to reach out with questions..
