Should I move to Prairieville or stay in Phoenix?

I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,225 for rent here. Rent is about $1,225/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Pine Hills area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
