Starting a business in Prairieville?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm single, late 20s, and Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $302,200 on average. The median home value here is around $302,200, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,225/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Westside for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The dating scene scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
