What surprised you most about Prairieville?

Hey, Just moved here 13 months ago and Homes are going for about $302,200 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Prairieville sits at 498.8 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
