Is Prescott worth moving to in 2026?

Curious what people think. I work in marketing and With a population of 46,744, Prescott is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Minneapolis it's surprisingly good.

I've lived in West for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The weather scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Vietnamese places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
