Is Presque Isle worth it salary-wise?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 30s, and Average temperature is around 39--F, so bundle up in winter. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $875/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $142,400, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.
