Housing in Princeton Meadows compared to Tampa

Random thought, Rent is about $1,937/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Moved here from Chicago about 1 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to safety but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Highland. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The healthcare is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is tough in most areas.

I've lived in Highland for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Active local events and festivals
- The cultural scene scene is average

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
