Princeton in the winter -how bad?

My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Princeton sits at 31.6 per 100K. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

I've lived in West for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The healthcare scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. No regrets on my end..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.
