Worst things about Princeton nobody talks about

Anyone else feel this way? The median home value here is around $310,700, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $96,766 in Princeton. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Definitely worth checking out..
