Best areas to explore in Prosser?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Prosser sits at 109.6 per 100K. Household incomes average around $66,406 in Prosser. With a population of 6,213, Prosser is a small town. Poverty rate is 17.3%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
