Job market in Providence — what industries are hiring?

I'm in finance and considering a move to Providence, RI. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 4.8% which seems average. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Don't sleep on Lakewood. It's up and coming and still affordable.
