Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider — Providence sits at 496.2 per 100K. Homes are going for about $322,800 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
