Things that make Providence unique

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Average temperature is around 53°F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $66,772, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Close to nature
- Easy commute
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Limited dining options
- High property taxes
- Boring for young people
- Poor road conditions
What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
