Unpopular opinion about Providence

I'm a teacher here and With a population of 190K, Providence is a mid-size city. Rent is about $1,333/month for a decent place. It's a a mid-size city city with about 190K people. Poverty rate is 14.9%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $66,772 in Providence. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Low crime in most areas
- Low taxes
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Bought a house here in 2020 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
