First time home buyer in Provo

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 12 months ago and Poverty rate is 13.1%, which is around average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 114K people. Household incomes average around $62,800 in Provo. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
