Is it worth buying in Provo?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,152/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great BBQ places. it's exactly what I was looking for.
