Is it worth buying in Provo?

Curious what people think. Rent is about $1,152/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 13.1%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $437,100 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Portland it's challenging.
