How are the schools in Pueblo?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $230,900, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 112K, Pueblo is a mid-size city. Rent is about $1,020/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Houston about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are reasonable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..
