Studio apartments in Pulaski -options?

Alright, The median home value here is around $151,200, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $151,200 on average. With a population of 2,202, Pulaski is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Pulaski sits at 128.1 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Appreciate any input. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I work in healthcare here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is decent. No regrets on my end..
