Best neighborhoods to rent in Puyallup?

I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Dallas it's pretty good.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure
- The job market scene is improving

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
