Is public transit usable in Quantico Base?

Hey everyone, I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $69,419, which feels about average for the area. Household incomes average around $69,419 in Quantico Base. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 6 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
