Is Queen Creek worth moving to in 2026?

Anyone else feel this way? I've been here for 2 years and Homes are going for about $576,600 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? Appreciate any input. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Used to live on the West side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in education. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Greenfield area are decent. Kids love it here.
