First time home buyer in Quincy

We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $95,711 in Quincy. Poverty rate is 8.8%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 9 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
