Grocery stores in Quincy -recommendations?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Quincy sits at 163.0 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 7,922 people. The city has invested a lot in new development.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Meadowbrook area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Used to live on the South side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Denver about 12 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. No regrets on my end..
