So, I relocated for work and With a population of 4,046, Quitman is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 4,046 people. Rent is about $629/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $629 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
