Hello, Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 13.4%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $158,100 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned? The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I'm a electrician and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
