Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Rent is about $983/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 77,155 people. You can expect to pay around $983 for rent here. Poverty rate is 13.4%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
