Things that make Racine unique
My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a smaller city city with about 77,155 people. Median household income is $55,705, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Let me know your thoughts. TIA! The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
