Radford quality of life -am I missing something?

Hi all, Homes are going for about $211,700 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I work in legal here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is better than expected. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- The safety scene is average

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
