Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Rent is about $1,076/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

I work in healthcare here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is improving. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..
