Is Rafael Hernández comunidad worth it salary-wise?
Hello, Poverty rate is 50.0%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 78--F, so it's warm year-round. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Does this match your experience? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in Old Town for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The pet-friendliness scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Old Town. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in engineering. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
