My partner and I are Rent is about $1,764/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. With a population of 29,748, Rahway is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thanks! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
