Hi all, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 4.7%, which is about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Seattle about 13 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Dallas about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is average.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
