Best sunset spot in Raleigh?

Hey everyone,

Just retired here from Detroit. The school system in Wake Forest is actually underrated.

With a population of 470,763, the city has a {city_feel}. Crime rate at 255.7/100K residents is something to {crime_feel}.

Honestly the biggest downside is the cost. People here are friendlier than I expected coming from Detroit.

What am I missing here?

Moved here from Chicago and I'd say The weather took some getting used to but I actually love it now.. The walkability here is decent compared to what I'm used to.

Cameron Village local here. Downtown has improved dramatically since I first moved here.. If you need specific recommendations feel free to ask.

OK let me break this down from someone who's been here a while.

Apex vs Wake Forest: completely different vibes. Apex is more decent with walkable streets and local shops. Wake Forest is pricey and better for singles.

Cost-wise, expect /mo minimum for anything decent in Apex. In Wake Forest you can find stuff for /mo.

I don't understand why more people don't talk about {hood}.. Public transit is {transit_feel} - you'll want a car.

Moved here from Seattle and I'd say I feel like {city} is becoming more expensive without getting better.. The nightlife here is great compared to what I'm used to.
