Hey everyone, With a population of 471K, Raleigh is a mid-size city. Median household income is $82,424, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $377,800 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
